Its amazing, how many times, you have an idea, write it down to execute it at a "later time" and somebody comes along and just does that.
I had that same exact feeling when I read about Trefis.com at Techcrunch . This is a pretty cool site that actually lets you do fundamental investing in a reasonable scientific way i.e. have an opinion on where the company is actually going.
For example, I wrote this email 2 Years ago on Jan 11th 2007. I could have used Trefis to make a much more scientific prediction of the impact of ...

TechCrunch first reported about Twitter closing in on funding at a billion dollar valuation. Wall Street Journal confirmed the news that it was indeed raising $100M at a billion dollar valuation.
As is normally the case, whenever a big deal happens about an Internet Startup (see Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube etc...), there is a huge outcry about bubble, valuations, hot air etc...
For example, one of my favorite companies, whose book really laid the foundation of my philosphy for operating an internet service, released a mock press release making fun of billion dollar valuations. While 37 Signals has been talking about ...

A pretty interesting report by Goldman Sachs outlining that India can afford to spend $1.7 trillion on Infrastructure. This higher spending can be primary supported by a higher savings rate, favorable demographics and a robust government, household and external balance sheet.
